AS OF FEBRUARY 20 TH 2026 WINDSOR OAK FARM IS CLOSED WE DO HAVE TWO ADULT FEMALE FRENCH BULLDOGS TO REHOME
I stated this business in 2002 in order to be a stay at home parent and continue a family tradition of offering healthy toy and small breed puppies. My daughters are raised and on their own raising
children and starting careers. I believe the choices they are making will create a better world.
I have enjoyed meeting thousands of people from the Baltimore/ Washington DC metro area and hope I have provided each family with a new family member that brought unconditional love into the lives of the entire family.
In 2017 my sister and I participated in a wildlife conservation project at a Sea Turtle sanctuary in Costa . We have both been involved in equine and canine business endeavors. We were raised with an with an understanding and apprceciation for wildlife as well.
I believe the best things happen somewhat by chance and it is always best to follow your heart when it comes to employment and lifes’ work. I was in Namibia February 2020 participating in my first African wildlife and community based project. Since the pandemic I have returned to Zimbabwe and Uganda for similar projects. I have traveled to Botswana, Zambia, Rwanda, Kenya , and South Africa. I would like to spend more time doing school projects and African Wildlife Conservation. Kayaking, fishing, and hiking with my dogs at the family fishing camp in Ontario is also on the agenda.
I was fortunate enough to meet and work with Harold Plummer a Washington DC school Superintendent while working as a part time ski instructor 2000 -2015. Harold and his wife did not have any children but he started a program that enabled over 20,000 Washington DC school children to be exposed to down hill skiing. Harold and everyone involved were given the gift of understanding that it is not what you accumulate or achieve in the workplace that provides meaning to life. It is giving back with no expectation of being noticed or receiving a word of gratitude. I can assure you those children taught everyone involved about life in a way many of us never expected. I carry that lesson in my heart during my travels in Africa
For my loyal customers who I believe to be my friends, I hope that in the end when you spend your final day with your pet that you appreciate that Harold Plummer had an important part of life figured out. Our dogs are with us to teach unconditional love and if you are fortunate enough to spend a life well lived and be remembered as I remember my friend and mentor Harold Plummer, that you are entitled to grieve but that the only worth while lesson we can receive is one of love .
We live in a time of difficult challenge and our spirit is under constant attack. I have found one or two nuggets of truth in my 75 years.
This moment is all that we have, our souls did not end up here at this moment to hate one another. Our souls like the souls of our dogs were sent here to love unconditionally
.
